This is the last video I created using Windows Movie Maker before switching over to Adobe Premier Pro CS3. It’s the first Terminator fan tribute video I created where I used all four Terminator movies.

For this video I wanted to try and tell a story and kind of show things from the machines perspective, in particular Skynet. I wanted it to parallel the story of Samson who is tricked into giving Delilah the secret to his strength who turns that knowledge against him. When he’s asleep she shaves his head which is the source of his power. He’s then captured by his enemies, blinded and forced into slave labour. Eventually his hair grows back and defeats his enemies in one final move by destroying their temple and killing himself in the process.

This in a way is similar to Skynet’s relationship with its human creators. It tricks them thinking there is a virus which it uses to gain control over all defence networks and arsenals including nuclear weapons, the source of their strength. Then Skynet turns these weapons against humanity to try to wipe it out.
